About Prometheus

The first live production to contain a hidden Bitcoin private key to a wallet containing ONE MILLION SATOSHIS. Prometheus’ mythic theft of fire blazes through history and rebellion asking what is the cost of knowledge and what happens when humanity dares to steal power from the modern gods?

Prometheus was first performed at Cyphermunk House, London, to a private audience. The show had its public debut at the 2025 Camden Fringe at The Cockpit theatre.

A seed is created through the rehearsal process and worked into the dramaturgy, music, text and design of the show.

Program

A companion puzzle programme accompanies the show to help direct puzzle solvers towards the seed.

Performance

The show is presented to a live audience who must decipher the 12 words hidden within. The Bitcoin waits to be stolen...
